At DVC I designed nearly 30 digital cameras over a five year period.

These were high performance cameras for scientific applications, so the emphasis was on image quality. I did all the mechanical design and development for thermoelectrically cooled cameras, image intensified cameras, filter wheel cameras, high resolution cameras and custom cameras for OEMs. All the design work was done in SolidWorks.

It was a small company so I had to wear many hats, including the quality manager hat, the industrial design hat, the purchasing hat for mechanical parts, the instruction manual designer hat, the illustrator hat, and so on.
